Borneo Earthquake Game
Earthquakes struck Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia with a magnitude of 6.0 on 5 June 2015, which lasted 30sec. So far 18 people died on Mount Kinabalu, mostly Singaporean consists of students from Tanjong Katong Primary School, and most climbers stranded on the mountain but were subsequently rescued. Tremors were also felt in most part of Sabah, Sarawak and even the tiny country of Brunei Darussalam.
Geologist believes the earthquake was caused by the presence of active fault lines, resulted in a rapid release of energy where seismic waves move in all directions.
This game is created to commemorate those who died in the event, especially the FOUR Mountain Guides, namely Valerian, Joseph, Robbi & Aby. Also not forgetting the rest of the Mountain Guides who sure their climbers descent safely.
